What we work on
Mercedes-Benz, and nothing else. Every job carries 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labor.

01Engine service and repair
Oil leaks, cooling system work, timing components, misfires and check-engine diagnosis, and full engine repair. Factory-level diagnostic equipment rather than a generic code reader, which is most of why a dealer-only problem gets solved here.
- Oil and coolant leaks
- Cooling system and radiators
- Timing chain and tensioners
- Misfires and rough running
- Check-engine diagnosis
- Full engine repair and rebuild
-
02Transmission service and repair
Mercedes transmissions are widely described as sealed for life. In practice they are not, and fluid service on the right interval is one of the cheapest ways to avoid a very expensive repair. We diagnose shift complaints properly before recommending anything major.
- Fluid and filter service
- Harsh or delayed shifting
- Slipping under load
- Valve body and conductor plate
- Torque converter faults
- Transfer case on 4MATIC
-
03Factory scheduled maintenance
Your car tells you Service A or Service B is due. We perform it to the factory schedule with the correct parts and fluids, and we record it. Having it done here does not affect your warranty.
- Service A and Service B
- Oil, filters and fluids to spec
- Brake fluid and cabin filter
- Full inspection and report
- Service counter reset
- Recorded for your history
Also in the shop
Not separate departments. Just part of running a Mercedes-only shop.
Diagnostics
A check-engine light on a Mercedes is rarely one fault. We read the car properly rather than guessing at parts and charging you for the guesses.
Brakes and suspension
Including air suspension, which is the repair owners most often get quoted the wrong way.
Pre-purchase inspection
Thinking about buying a used Mercedes. Bring it here first. It is the cheapest money you will ever spend on that car.
The things people ask on the phone
Will servicing here void my factory warranty?
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it unlawful for a manufacturer to void your warranty simply because an independent shop performed the scheduled maintenance. You are entitled to have the work done where you choose, using parts that meet specification.
Keep your receipts, which you would anyway, and we record what was done.
What is the difference between Service A and Service B?
Mercedes alternates them, roughly every 10,000 miles or twelve months, whichever arrives first. Service A is the lighter of the two: oil and filter, fluid levels, tire pressures, brake inspection, and resetting the service counter. Service B adds the cabin dust filter, brake fluid, and a longer inspection list.
Service B costs meaningfully more, which is why it is the one people put off. Your car's own service computer is the authority on which is due, and we will tell you which one you are in for before we start.
Do you use genuine Mercedes-Benz parts?
Where it matters, yes. For some items an OE part, made by the same supplier that makes it for the factory but without the star on the box, is identical and costs less. We will tell you which is which and what we are fitting.
Can I turn up without calling first?
For anything beyond a quick look, call 703-281-5606 during shop hours first. We will tell you when to bring it in and what to expect.
How do I get home after I drop the car off?
Free ride to the Vienna Metro station. It is a few minutes away and puts you on the Orange Line. No charge, and you do not have to ask.
Will you tell me what it costs before you do the work?
Always. We call with what we found, what it costs, and what happens if it waits. Nothing gets done that you have not agreed to.
What do you not do?
Bodywork, paint, glass, and tires. We do not sell cars. And we do not work on any other make, which is the whole point.
